"A very generous donation was recently made to the HCAA by Mr. Marvin Glasgow of Willow Park, Texas. His lithic collection included diagnostic dart and arrow points covering Early Archaic through Late Prehistoric time periods as well as numerous tools such as scrapers, choppers, utilized flakes, etc.
All of the lithic material was recovered from sites in Kerr County where Mr. Glasgow had permission from landowners to collect the materials. Mr. Glasgow had also recorded a number of these sites with the Texas Archeology Research Laboratory.
Because of the quality and quantity of the material donated, it will allow the HCAA to expand its educational outreach via lectures and exhibits by utilizing Mr. Glasgow's material.
